The challenge

Following the success of a new corporate identity which Chamberlain Dunn helped to build, the Burdett Trust requested us to assist with the development of Barbara’s Story – a campaign to raise awareness of how to care for dementia patients at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, which has been referenced by many leading bodies including Parliament.

Our solution

By working closely with the Burdett Trust, we wrote, designed and produced a resources pack based on a dementia awareness training programme developed by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. The aim was to distribute the pack to other NHS trusts so they could use it to improve the way dementia patients are cared for. The pack includes the Barbara’s Story video as well as a range of printed documents. Over 2,500 training packs have now been distributed across the NHS and abroad to the public sector as well as a range of not-for-profit organisations. The feedback on the campaign far exceeded expectations.

The pack looks really excellent and Chamberlain Dunn Creative were professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Thank you.
